🔥 _Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord._

1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV

It is sad that Christianity is considered just but another religion!.

Your Christianity shouldn't be so!, the day you got born again, you entered the life of God and therefore entered your God pre-ordained course for your life.

He uses the Greek word *perisseuō* for "abounding" which literally means *"over and above"*

Your christian life is the real deal, it should be *over and above* any thing else you ever do in this life!.

🔥 _To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; *and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.*_

2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV

The new creatures assignment on earth is primarily fishing men for the same everlasting kingdom from whence they come. In verse 20 of the same chapter he says; _*Now ye are ambassadors for Christ.....*_

You hail from above and not beneath, you are of God and not of this world. Your life is supernatural, you are God's assignment on earth. His very mandate shines through you.

 🔥 _....For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:_

Ephesians 4:12 KJV

Many people believe that the work of ministry is for the pastors, teachers and prophets but from this portion of scripture you'll realise two things;

1. "Perfecting of the saint's " which clearly suggests saints ain't perfect people. The very reason he subjects them to the renewal of mind in romans 12:2.

2. For the work of ministry.

The very reason of perfection is *the work of ministry*. This clearly means the work, the assignment is for the saint's, the Christian!.

He uses the Greek word *katartismos* for perfecting which means complete furnishing, equipping.

This is the reason you can not not go to church on Sunday!.

You cannot be too busy for your own perfection.

Your commitment and partnership with a local church is the very first step to Christian perfection.

You must live beyond self, committed by conviction not convenience!, this is the more excellent way.

Lord Jesus, today I commit to subject my everything to the work of ministry. My life is in you. I manifest the true light of your word every day of my life.

My course is aligned with God's purpose in Jesus name. Amen.

*Fear not!*

🔥 ```Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you, saying; is this the

man who made the earth tremble.```

Isaiah 14: 16

Our scripture for today gives us some insight into who the devil really is. Many of God’s children live in constant fear of what the enemy can do but the bible is telling us that the day we will see the devil as he really is even you will be surprised that is this the devil you were afraid of!?.

You will look and wonder in amazement that this is the man who troubled  the earth.

You are a new creation in Christ superior to the devil, his only weapon against you is your ignorance of who you are.

🔥 ```Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.```

Joshua 1:9 KJV

Notice the emphasis that God puts in the instruction to Joshua not to be afraid, he repeats the same from verse six through nine.

Knowledge of who and whose you are will lift you to greater heights. Ignorance on the other hand will make you a victim.

As you continue to meditate on this Good News, you are awakened to the power of God inside you.

All of a sudden you know in your knower that none of his weapons shall ever prosper against your health, your marriage or your finances.

You are more than a conqueror through Christ and you have nothing to fear.

*THE WISDOM OF GOD IS OPERATING IN YOU NOW!*

🔥```Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.```

Proverbs 4:7 KJV

Wisdom is the principal thing; it is the capital! The wisdom referred to here is not the one that comes with age or experience, nor is it the wisdom of this world:

 🔥```Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. [14] But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.```

1 Corinthians 2:13-14 KJV

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. We are dealing here with divine wisdom - an insight into reality.

Galatians 3:27 says it this way;

🔥 " ```For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.``` ”,

then, Colossians 2:3 reveals that ```all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in Christ.```

 If you put on Christ by virtue of new birth, it means you have put on all the treasures of

wisdom and knowledge. No wonder the bible says you’re complete in Christ, who is made unto us wisdom.

The seven spirits of God are complete in Jesus Christ.  and that wisdom cannot be improved upon; it’s called excellent wisdom. It pleased the father that in Christ should all this fullness dwell. We are made perfect in him, hallelujah!.

Walking in this wisdom, which has been made available to you in Christ, is your guarantee for a life of consistent success, victory, and excellence.

I can never be disadvantaged in this world, Christ is my wisdom, I am never helpless, I am winning today in the name of Jesus.

*"IMPOSSIBLE" IS A MIRAGE!.*

🔥 ```While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.```

2 Corinthians 4:18

The Greek word translated “look” means “to consider, mark, or take cognizance of.”

The scripture, therefore, means not to give attention, consideration or take into cognizance of whatever challenges or obstacles you might face in your fight of faith. Rather, see every challenge as bread.

See obstacles as stepping stones for your promotion, for nothing can successfully stand against you, because you’re more than a conqueror.

 🔥 _*No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.*_ Isaiah 54:17 KJV

This is a sovereign declaration over your life and future. Prick your ears, bring this word to your aid, convert it, personalize the word and make it your rhema. This is the engrafted word of God that is able to catapult you to far greater horizons in just a moment.

Prepare your mind, set it up for a guaranteed future.

Your dream has not and cannot die!,  you are yet to manifest in this land exceedingly, abundantly more than the imaginations of those around you can comprehend.

Today, see all seemingly impossible situations as opportunities for your testimony.

Notice the tenses, "nothing ~shall be~ " is an expression of a forthcoming.

Your future is Gods expected end - good success (Joshua 1:8).

 🔥```We have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will.   ``` Colossians 1:9

Some time ago, i reflected on the prayer life of Jesus in one of the messages, we noted how often he engaged in prayer. The Lord’s passion for prayer is something he wants us to have as well. In one of his parables Jesus taught that we “should always pray and not give up”

🔥 ```And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;```

Luke 18:1 KJV

Reading through this parable you realize that the heaping up of prayer forces a manifestation.

Prophet Uebert  angel in his book "prayer banks" calls it crediting your account. A time comes when you need a withdraw and as you know, you can't debit what you never credited.

 🔥```If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth:.``` ..Eccl11:3 KJV

Lack of results is directly proportional to lack of prayer. You simply can't empty what you never filled!.

Prayer was obviously a high priority for the apostle Paul, who wrote the letter to the Colossians. Some of the most beautiful prayers ever written are found in his letters. Paul’s prayers are magnificent, not only because of their content but also because he was so diligent in prayer. He prayed “continually” for others and always thanked God for them.

 🔥```Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.```

Hebrews 4:16 KJV

Here we see how that you must access the throne and collect for your self mercy and grace to help in time of need!. He uses the Greek word *lambano* for ...obtain mercy... which means to get hold of, to take up for self, to grasp as much as you can.

And also the Greek word *heuriskō* for "...find grace..." which means to come upon, hit upon, to meet with.. Hallelujah!

In the place of prayer, you will collide with graces, you will rub upon things divine and manifest supernaturally in the land of the living.

Perhaps this leads you to consider how important prayer is in your life. Sometimes we think prayer is a gift that some believers have more than ­others. Sometimes people who become known for having a passion for prayer are even called “prayer warriors.”

It’s true that some people are simply more interested in prayer than others. But God wants prayer to be a top priority in everyone’s life. God wants us to experience prayer as a delight, not a duty.

Perhaps one of the things we should pray about most is prayer itself. If you ask God to help make prayer more of a priority in your life, how do you think he will respond? Of course he will say yes!

 Many Christians make the mistake of thinking that God is too busy taking care of the “big things” to be interested in the little problems they are facing. Are you one of them?

It may be the state of your finances, a stormy marriage or the small pimple on your face.

Every little detail of your sphere, God wants to take care of every area of your life, even the smallest detail.

He loves you so much that He knows the number of hairs you have on your head. And if your loving heavenly Father knows and is interested in the small details of your life, then you don’t have to overcome any problem on your own.

 🗡```Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: [7] Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.```

*1Peter 5:6-7*

Your due time is completely up to your total surrender to him. Stop working your way out and let God start a work for you through you.

 _You're papa owns this world._

 🗡🗡```Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.```

1John 4:17 KJV

Jesus commissioned us to preach the gospel, pray for the sick and manifest his glory on earth. We are called to not only talk love but act love.

We are called to express the image of God.

When Christ lived on earth he revealed the character of the kingdom he was later to establish, this kingdom is here now.

 🗡```Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;.``` ..

Ephesians 5:1 KJV

The Greek word "followers" there is *"mimētēs"* which is translated "to imitate" or copy some one entirely. To act and talk like him. This is possible because we now have his life.

Well, you might say, "isn't that going too far, to say we are like God?". Our opening scripture already suggests soo!, *"as he is so are we in this world".*

David by the spirit makes an even greater utterance in that regard;

 🗡```I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.```

Psalm 82:6 KJV.

David was talking of the man in christ, notice the tenses; "ye are gods" he was speaking from a futuristic time because the spirit had taken him there. John confirms in the same order of tenses, "as he is so are we" not shall we.

He imparted his spirit in our spirits through the word.

🗡 ```And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: [23] I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.```

John 17:22-23 KJV

Here we discover that jesus gave us the same glory as the father gave him. As God's children, we are the carriers as well as the effulgence of his glory.

In simple language, a dog gives birth to a dog, a cow gives birth to a cow, a goat gives birth to a goat, *God gives birth to god's!*

*The efficacy of our gospel*

 ```And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: [5] That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.```
[1Corinthians 2:4-5 KJV]

The biblical testimony to the efficacy of God’s word is clear, from our opening scripture, paul speaks from a place of authority as one fully persuaded of what was delivered to him. this is a man convinced without any obscurity of the instructions in this gospel!.
The word is real and effective, it is the very foundation of all existent material.

 He (the word) not only speaks creation into existence and  “ _upholds the universe by the word of his power”_ (Hebrews 1:3), but through the revealed word he promises and warns, blesses and curses, commands and calls, commissions and ordains, discloses and exposes, heals, delivers, takes possession, controls the elements, casts out demons, condemns, forgives, and raises the dead.

The efficacy of God’s prophetic and apostolic word is not just displayed, but also explicitly asserted: *the “word . . . that goes out from my mouth,”* God declares, *“shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it”* (Isaiah 55:11);  *“the gospel,”* Paul asserts, *“is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes”* [Romans 1:16]
Paul writes; *“the word of God is living and active,”* he says, *“sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart”* [Hebrews 4:12–13].
Its quite sad the gospel hasn't  effectively Penetrated our generation, the tangible manifestation of his infallible word has not been quite  realised among the children of God!. well, we have arrived, we are here to make manifest  this truth.
 *For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.*
[2Corinthians 1:20]

hallelujah, hallelujah! we have arrived! the word is working for us now!.

 ```Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. [7] Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.```

So many people feel or think it's right to get stressed. In fact they even say stress is part of life!, or it is mature to get stressed, its believed to be the "harsh realities of life!", how sad!.
Years ago as we grew up I witnessed the struggles in my family and the negative confessions of my parents which where some what birthed from the stress factor; I don't have money!, I don't know if we'll eat tomorrow!, this government has killed us!, we are doomed!.....
The negative utterances went on and on, we grew up in fear, just the thought of tomorrow was enough to block our happiness for today!.

 ```And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?``` [Matthew 6:27]

Well, I got news for you, *IAM STRESS FREE*, yes it's possible, that's what I have become, over the years I discovered a life worth living, hallelujah!,

 *Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light*.[Matthew 11:28-30 KJV]

The Greek word for rest here is *anapauō* meaning to cause or permit one to cease from any movement or labour in order to recover and collect his strength, a quietness of calm and patient expectation.
This kind of rest is only supplied by Jesus hallelujah!.

*Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.*
[John 14:27 KJV]
Jesus uses another word here "my peace", he calls it his peace, wow!

In Isaiah 26:3 KJV
*Thou wilt keep him in ~perfect peace~ , whose mind is stayed on thee : because he trusteth in thee.*

Well, the original Hebrew word there for "perfect peace" is *"shâlôm shâlôm"* which is rendered - *peace peace* - This wouldn't make a lot of sense in English, however the translators understood without any ambiguity the meaning of this. It's a perfection of peace. It's a peace with prosperity, a peace with good health, a peace with good friends, a peace with.....add it there..hallelujah! .., glory!, we have arrived!.
A friend of mine normally Say's "enjoying Jesus with money in the pocket". That's the life of a new creation.

*Living beyond "the harsh realities of life".*

```But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.``` 
2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV

 From our devotion last week, we said: *"Christianity is a metamorphic life - a foward and upward life, a growing into perfection."*
We also said that you can not be the same man like yesterday, you've got to reprogram your self to respond to God's modus operandi, learn to yield fully to the instruction of God. Give his word a total takeover of your life, your entire decision making realm fully embedded on his will. For then you'll make your way prosperous.

I have realised that most Christians look at the now experiences of what to eat, cloth, friends to make, family pressures, job hunt's and the like.., Christians listen to the preachings and utterances of the gospel as mere strategies of unity amongst humanity and communities.
I have had thoughts like "beyond the excitements of the Sunday church services, we face the harsh realities of life!".
How sad!, Christianity is indeed - divinity in humanity-

 *For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.* 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 KJV

Once you recognise the word and take it on by faith, it begins to shape you into that man.

Romans 12:2, relates with the word....meter morphism, to "transmogrify" - transform in a surprising or magical manner.
The word has ability to change you inside- out. In a short while, men will be in awe at your new character and sense of speech.
It is at this point that your physical life begins to gain mastery of it's surrounding, the entire universe begins to respond to you because of the spiritual maturity you've attained.
Hallelujah!. We are making progress, we are yielding to the word of God voraciously!.

*Do you esteem your leaders?.* (part 1-introduction)

 _And we beseech you, brethren, *to know* them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; [13] And to esteem them *very highly in love* for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves._

1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 KJV

He uses the Greek word *eido* for ...to know...as stated in verse 12, this is to acknowledge and be aware as a discipline in your character. Most people never understand this probably because they've never been a leader or occupied such a position. You may never comprehend some of the peculiar challenges that come along.

The challenges of leadership are very peculiar to leaders and until one becomes or takes that active course can he attempt to speak in line.

The challenges and responsibilities are enormous!, that's why every child of God who understands this prays for their leaders at all times.

The more you pray for them, the more understanding, tolerant, and appreciative you'll be of their work and service, It is only at this place that God qualifies you for leadership.

Some children are quick to criticize leaders, they seem to always "know" it all!.

Just because you're not comfortable with some decisions taken doesn't necessarily make them wrong, learn patience and acknowledge that fact that God is working in them.

Hebrews 13:17 says;

*Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.*

It is pride and arrogance to think that you know more than you're leader, and think that you've earned the right to speak out on them!.

Humility comes from a place of patience and tolerance.

If you've chosen to submit under a given authority, give thy self wholly to the  leadership there under, for then shall your qualification be made manifest to all.

Remember God chosen leaders are;

Approved in private, chosen before  position, a solution to prevailing need.
